Hi, yes, of course, you are entering the Google Contacts within the Evolution, not within the GOA (GNOME Online Accounts). It will be an issue as long as the bug [1] is still opened and not fixed. What Milan is saying is that you *must* use Google Online Accounts to set up Google Contacts, because of the change in Google's authentication system.
