[Evolution] FOREIGN KEY constraint failed

2014-11-11 Thread Araluen
Hello,
Hoping I'm in the right place...
I'm trying to delete contacts from Evolution in Debian running Xfce and
I'm getting the message:
FOREIGN KEY constraint failed
and I'm unable to remove the contact.

Not sure where to from here.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Mark

Yes, the same suggestion I give everyone who wants to ask a question
here. Help people to help you by stating what version of Evolution you
have. The fact that's on Debian is largely irrelevant but the version
information is not. See Help->About.

[Evolution] What Is This?

2014-11-11 Thread Bill Kuns
Dear List:

What the heck is this: "ooow:=[.$C$1]"?

Why do I get that instead of "=$C$1" when I open a LibreOffice File?

What can I do to stop it? I saved the file properly.

Thank you.

This mailing list is about an email application called "Evolution".
If Evolution is somewhere involved, feel free to provide steps to
reproduce the problem and Evolution version information.

Maybe some encoding mangling somewhere. Hard to guess without steps.

Cheers,

Hello,
I guess this is the same as Araluen's thread, to which you second?

So the same steps, the error message shows when you try to delete a
contact in a local address book, or a completely different steps to
reproduce the error?

Hi,
I tried with 3.12.7, by:
a) switch to Contacts
b) create a new contact in On This Computer/Personal address book,
with filled Full Name and one E-mail
c) delete this new contact

No error shown.
Bye,
Milan

I'm running Evolution 3.12.8 now. Upgrading sqlite doesn't cause an
issue anymore.
