Re: [Evolution] evolution won't show email

2011-03-05 Thread brad haack

I deleted the fastmail account (Edit-Preferences-selectaccount-Delete)
and reentered the info. I got the impression that some data was still
cached (it showed new messages before I had entered the password). I'd
like to delete any data associated to this account that might be causing
this. Is that possible? If so where is it?

Re: [Evolution] evolution won't show email

2011-03-05 Thread brad haack
Ok, I found ~/.evolution/mail/imap and deleted the folder there. When
I restarted Evolution it looked good. I quit Evolution and started it
and now back to square one. No messages.

[Evolution] View small tasks pane on same screen as email

2011-03-05 Thread Michael
At my last job I used OutLook for the first time ever. And I got really
used to having my tasks list on the right-hand of the same screen with
my email. I could quickly add a new task, view what tasks were due today
etc.

However, using Evolution, I haven't used the tasks function really at
all, because it's not really obvious (with how I work). As far as I can
see, the only obvious visual reference to tasks when on the mail screen
is the button in the bottom left corner of the screen.

So, I want the quick tasks showing on the email screen, the same way it
show up on the calendar screen.

Is there anyway to do this?

Thanks.

Dear All,

I still have the problem, I have to use this dreadful KMail, which is driving
me crazy. Would some kind soul please put me out of my misery, and help me
get back to Evolution.

I just don't know what to do to solve the problem.

Many thanks,

grasshopper
