Hi,
please try
LANG=de_DE.utf8
(maybe without utf8 or with UTF-8 on windows, I've no idea about that)
Hope that helps,

I found the problem, not the solution.

I compared the locale directory of my Vista installation with my Ubuntu
one and recognized that not all language files *.mo and image files
*.png are installed. Maybe there are other files I don't know from.

Comes that from the installation or from the distribution ?

There should be a bunch of files in the folder
share\locale\de\LC_MESSAGES under your Evolution installation folder.
Files like evolution-2.26.mo and evolution-data-server-2.26.mo .

[Evolution] Evolution 2.24.5 && Exchange && can not send Calendar replies

2009-07-10 Thread Matthias Apitz

Hello,

I can send fine mails with Evolution. But when I Accept some Calendar
invitation the resulting reply mail is not delivered; it says in a
pop-up:

   Error while performing operation.

   Could not send message.
   This might mean that your account is over quota.

the mail sits in Outbox of the local computer and every click on
send/receive brings up the error box again; while other mail jumps out
fine; any ideas?

Did you check whether you did not exceed your quote? From my experience you
cannot send emails if you do because a copy need to be stored in sent items.
Be careful because deleted items also count towards your quota.

Where can I check this; I'm alone on my laptop and have no quotas in the

[Evolution] how to debug evolution

2009-07-10 Thread Matthias Apitz

Hello,

There must be some way to debug what Evo is doing or complaining about;
every good developer implements this; I don't see any hints, not even in
the FAQ; there is only something like "export GROUPWISE_DEBUG =1 in a
terminal and launch evolution", so I tried:

LANG=C export LANG
debug=1
Debug=1
DEBUG=1
export debug Debug DEBUG
evolution

with no luck; any hints about log/debug files? thx
