2008-07-07 Thread Doctor Who
I get the following error when trying to reply to messages now in
Evolution on openSUSE 11.0 (this started recently):

Could not create composer window.

Unable to activate the HTML editor control.

Please make sure that you have the correct version of gtkhtml and
libgtkhtml installed.

I have the following installed:

gtkhtml2-3.23.4-3
gtkhtml2-devel-3.23.4-3
libgtkhtml-devel-2.11.1-82
libgtkhtml-2.11.1-82
gtkhtml314-sharp-2.20.1-34
gtkhtml2-lang-3.23.4-3
evolution-webcal-lang-2.21.92-36
evolution-data-server-2.22.1.1-11.1
evolution-2.22.1.1-15.1
evolution-exchange-2.22.1.2-6.1
beagle-evolution-0.3.7-27
evolution-sharp-0.16.1.1-15.1
evolution-pilot-2.22.1.1-15.1
evolution-exchange-lang-2.22.1.2-6.1
evolution-webcal-2.21.92-32.1

Any help here is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Where is libgtkhtml3.14? Or perhaps OpenSUSE has a different packaging
for it?

[Evolution] Can calendar reminders be made persistent?

2008-07-07 Thread timzak

I was wondering if it was possible for Evolution calendar reminders to be
made more persistent or "in your face". Currently I see a notification icon
and if I click on it, it then displays a pop up window on my screen. Once I
view this reminder, it goes away. What I would like is for the reminder to
immediately pop up on my screen (I often do not notice the notification
icon), and for the reminder to stay on my screen and keep popping up after a
reboot, until I specifically tell it not to display anymore.

I believe the Mozilla Thunderbird Lightning calendar extension does this.
The reminder stays on your screen until you specifically "dismiss" it. I'd
also like the ability to "snooze" the reminder. That is, tell it to snooze
for a set period of time (ie, 1 hour), then pop up and remind me again at
that time. Otherwise, I find it too easy to miss a calendar event because
Evolution is too subtle (not persistent enough) in how it reminds me.

Is there a setting that allows this?

Thanks.

[Evolution] Is it possible to define some keyboard shortcut for "Mark as Unread"

2008-07-07 Thread Marcin Kasperski

The question as in the title. I would like to make some shortcut
(preferably Ctrl-U) to mark the currently selected message as unread.

Is it possible?

[Evolution] auto expand attachment

2008-07-07 Thread MSulchan Darmawan
Is it possible to auto expand attachment (picture attachment). So I
don't have to click the arrow button one by one.
