Re: [Evolution] Filters not working
Marcus, My experience is the same, except it doesn't work with Ununtu and 2.12.1 nor with SLED and 2.6.0 (Novell). (incidentally, I cant find any difference between Novell's SLED version of 2.6 and Ubuntu's version of 2.12.1 in performance and bugs or lack of them. I found Ubuntu's 2.10 - that came with Feisty -- was buggier than either 2.6 or 2.12.1) And I have made a point of not accessing the mail with another client during this test. I've frequently had the following scenario: - Start Evo - Delete some messages - Have a crash or hang for some unrelated reason - Restart Evo - Find the same messages not deleted As others have mentioned more than once, it would be useful to have an explicit "Synch the current folder state" button (perhaps as a variant of Send/Receive). poc ___ Evolution-list mailing list Evolution-list@gnome.org http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/evolution-list

Hi, it's intentional. Use Set Status/Junk instead. Junk folder is a virtual folder, as Trash is, which shows all messages marked as junk (deleted for trash). Re: [Evolution] svn head unable to select Junk folder as destination for filter
IIRC someone asked about this recently. The answer is that Junk is a virtual folder, so you can't select it as a destination. What you can do is change the message status to Junk, which has the same effect. poc On Wed, 2007-11-14 at 09:09 -0500, Reid Thompson wrote: > Current svn head does not allow the selection of the Junk folder as a > destination for filter. Re: [Evolution] Contact CSV export
I'm having a similar problem: I want to copy an address book from one system (running an older version of evolution) to the current Ubuntu-based evolution. I tried this, in the hope that the exporter would look in the current directory (It would be nicer, I think, if I could merely point the exporter at a directory): mount olddiskblah /mnt # mount old system with old evolution files. cd /mnt/home/me addressbook-export --format=csv --output=book.csv I got the same failure that Andrew reports below. It would also be VERY nice if I could import multiple (and let ME pick them!) saved mail files at once, and have them MERGED with any extant files of the same name, rather than overwriting them. Importing one file at a time is unpleasant. So, two questions: - how can I get a copy of my address book copied into my new system? - Is there any hope on the import merge-and-multiple-files front? Thanks.
