[Evolution] How to export KMail folders & filters to Evolution?
Hi everybody, I want to export my mail (several thousand messages in a quite complex folder hierarchy) and filters from the KMail default to Evolution. Browsing the web, I've found ways to do it by exporting folder by folder to mbox, but that would take too long and wouldn't save the filters. Does Evolution have a quick & Easy "Import from KMail" functionality? If not, is there a script somewhere to automate the conversion? [Evolution] description in day/week view
Hi, is it possible to have the whole description of an event shown in day and week view and not only the summary? I would like to switch from essentialpim (windows) to Evolution - but this feature is holding me back. If this would work, I would have a better overview - I like to see the whole info of all events at one time. If this is already possible: How to enable this? If not: Is it planned to be included in the next release or later? Thanks for any help! Re: [Evolution] Evo not deleting from server
That got the not deleting from server bit :D. Four files in my cache directory where messed up and I could not get write access to them, and thus Evo went to pot :( Next question; is there a way to kill the 3,000 or so duplicate emails I have under Evo 2.8.3 (FC6 install)? I tried the script from the URL below, but id did not work for me. [Evolution] Evolution 2.2.3 to 2.8
Hello, I currently run evolution 2.2.3 on a group of about 100 computers with installations of Fedora 2 and Fedora 4. The default installation of Evolution is 2.2.0 with updates in the repos to get to 2.2.3. I have attempted to upgrade to 2.8 on a test machine but run into major dependency issues and serious scripting to get the configure program to run. So many that I spent 2 hours pointing the program to the correct folders for qt and various dependencies and still haven't made it through successfully. Has anyone tried to do this before? I really am only interested in upgrading the Fedora 4 versions of Evolution as I am phasing out the Fedora 2 installs. You don't see this sort of behaviour in other applications that have caret modes, and I'm struggling to think of any accessibility benefit that would be peculiar to a mail client.
