The mails did not always appear in the "Create rule from Message" -->
"Search Folder from Mailing List" that I created for a particular
Mailing List. I noticed it in two Lists, this list and the
suse-linux-e@suse.com list. I did not respond to other lists in this
time period, so I do not know if it was to all lists. All incoming mails
from the Mailing List from other participants appear, but my own that I
sent with Ctrl-L to the list did not. These mails were never responded
to by the members of the list. I changed my mail address (ISP GMX), then
it was OK again. I did the same with this list yesterday, and today the
responses came in, just as it did before the problem occurred. Are some
ISP's blocked by the lists (occasionally - like GMail)? I noticed in the
mail's source that this mail response went to the previous ISP address
(GMail). I am replying with the new ISP's address (GMX).

Is there a way to disable ('do not have enabled' = 'disable' I take it)
the "subject threading" plugin other than not using "Group by
threads" (Ctrl-T) in the 'View' Menu's selection? Is there something
wrong with this option; I did not install any other plugins, except than
trying the http://www.gnome.org/~carlosg/stuff/evolution/ plugin (which
did not install).

It does imply some risk when you can't (or wouldn't because of
liability) recommend it. It is true that there is always a risk. 'Life
is a risky business'. :-)

OK, I am not that versed in Linux yet. It would help if someone could
assist with getting this to work with Evo 2.4.0 (Novell's SUSE 10.0
purchased boxed version).

[Evolution] Exchange Connector: emails I send end up in Inbox

2005-12-21 Thread Auerbach, Steven P.
I am using the Exchange Connector to send emails via my company's
exchange server. When I send a message the sent message shows up in my
Personal Folders/Inbox, not in Personal Folders/Sent Items. This is very
weird behavior. Is this a bug, or do I have something configured
incorrectly?

2005-12-21 Thread pnayak
Hi Steve

This is a bug in exchange connector but dont raise a new bug as it has
been already raised. This will be fixed soon. Till that bug gets fixed
what you can do is
1 goto 'Edit ->Preferences,
2 select your configured exchange account
3 click on 'Edit', goto 'Defaults' tab, in 'Sent messages folder'
specify 'Sent Items' folder or 'Sent' local folder.

Thanks
