are multi-hop file urls broken?

Today all of my multi-hop urls seem to be broken.  Is anyone else 
experiencing this issue?

Hello,

the two links:

[[http://localhost/A-+-B][AAA]] [[http://localhost/A-+-B][BBB]]

are displayed in org mode as

AAA BBB>/a>

meaning the first AAA + whitespaces are strike-through and normal face,
and the BBB is correctly displayed as link. However, both work as links.

I noticed the problem with links from Atlassian Confluence.

Org mode version 9.3 (9.3-elpa)
GNU Emacs 26.3 (build 1, x86_64-pc-linux-gnu, GTK+ Version 3.24.10) of

need to increase contrast in all emacs faces for legibility

at night, i need much more contrast in my emacs faces in order to
increase legibility.

during the day i want the same faces i currently have.

is it possible to programmatically increase foreground contrast
against their background in all faces?

i already have the background black or close to it.

i have heard that in practice, it is not a question of just increasing
brightness.  there is an accessibility website that can calculate it
but i don't know the url.

but even if nobody knows the theory of contrast perception, or
whatever applies here, even just increasing foreground brightness of
all faces would probably increase legibility.
