[DNG] GoldenDict empty window farther research.
Приветствую. I have found that GoldenDict works well under the logged in user while the empty window case has a place when GoldenDict is run under another user, in particular, w/ /usr/bin/xhost +si:localuser: /bin/su - So, as this application is the only one on my system that refuses to output its window content, may you have an idea what it needs to draw its window content being run under the above commands. Or may you can advice me how it can be run another way under another user. Thank you for your time. Hm, could also be related to something else. Did you check the system log files (/var/log) after the problem occured?. Maybe they contain some helpful information. > The information you asked for: > > . Window manager / Desktop environment: openbox-3.6.1-4 , all the users > login w/ console then startx. Can you please replace the package above with "libpolkit-gobject-elogind-1-0" and look out if the problem still occurs? cheers, Andreas -- gnuPG keyid: 8C2BAF51 fingerprint: 28EE 8438 E688 D992 3661 C753 90B3 BAAA 8C2B AF51 signature.asc Description: PGP signature ___ Dng mailing list Dng@lists.dyne.org https://mailinglists.dyne.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/dng
