I hosted my django website in apache with ssl hosted in Ubuntu 18.04 with 
Postgre sql db. Learning curve is there but you will be satisfied with final 
output. Digital ocean has good notes on it. You can refer to it. By the way 
what OS are you preferring?

can you check if you your email server is somehow blocking your emails?
Have you enabled your debug settings ON?

pageNum = request.GET.get('page')
feedtext = pages.get_page(pageNum)
return render(request, 'index.html',{'feedtext':feedtext})


and then in your html file where you want to show paginated records
