How to make to display the button which I need in my template Django?

2020-05-16 Thread Sergei Sokov

I need:

1) If a user has created a object of the class by a form, then he sees the
button which calls the webpage of the object detail.

2) If a user didn't create a object of the class, but another user did it,
then he sees the button which calls this form to create a object and the
user will be a author this object.

3) If a user didn't create a object of the class by a form, then he sees
the button which calls this form.

If a user didn't create a object of the class, but another user did it,
then he sees the button which calls this form to create a object and the
user will be a author this object.

I made this:

{% if list %}
{% for i in list %}
{% if request.user == i.author %}

  {{i.detail}}

{% else %}

 Кнопка для вызова формы

{% endif %}
{% endfor %}
{% else %}

  Кнопка для вызова формы
{% endif %}

But if a user created a object of the class, then he sees both button.

Re: Bootstrap drop down menu not clickable.

2020-05-16 Thread sunday honesty
I saw "pip install django-bootstrap4"

After installing, I should load bootstrap
Then I could add bootstrap form.

Other tutorials I have seen don't require downloading bootstrap since I
have doneloaded the compiled bootstrap and added it to the static folder of
my Django project.
If really I must download bootstrap using pip before it works, why did
other bootstrap features worked well except for the dropdown?

models.Datefield being localized where it shouldn't

2020-05-16 Thread Akshay Salunke
So, I have a DateField in my model and have also set I18N & L10N to `True`
in settings. When a browser running `en-AU` locale visits the website,
Django tries to parse the value read from model, using the first value in
`DATE_INPUT_FORMATS` from /conf.

The bug is when a user in `en-AU` locale visits the website, Django reads
the Datefield value from model and tries to localize it for `en-AU` locale
(from `DATE_INPUT_FORMATS` in /conf/en_AU) to this format `'%d/%m/%Y'`, but
html5 requires the `value` for `` to be explicitly in
this format: -MM-dd.
[ref](https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTML/Element/input/date)
[ref2](https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTML/Date_and_time_formats#Format_of_a_valid_date_string).

This causes an error in chrome dev console and the HTML date field rendered
without the date read from the model.

**This bug goes away when I disable L10N in settings. I am able to
reproduce this bug in `en-AU` and `en-GB`**

Do you guys think this is a bug, or me doing something wrong?

Possible Bug? AttributeError: 'HttpResponse' object has no attribute '_resource_closers'

2020-05-16 Thread Tim Allen
I posted this to Stack Overflow first, thinking it might be a problem with
`mod_wsgi`, but people using Gunicorn have seen the issue too. Here's a
link to the question on Stack Overflow:

https://stackoverflow.com/questions/61295971/django-3-0-5-with-mod-wsgi-attributeerror-httpresponse-object-has-no-attribu

Unfortunately, purging my cache hasn't fixed the problem like it did for a
commenter on the question, so I'm asking here for amplification. Here's the
text of the post:

I'm getting an error when I deploy Django 3.0.5 under mod_wsgi:
AttributeError:
'HttpResponse' object has no attribute '_resource_closers'. I'm running:

   - Python: 3.6.8
   - Django: 3.0.5
   - Apache: 2.4.6
   - mod_wsgi: 4.6.2

Here's the basics of the view causing the error; nothing too exotic (I've
simplified the code around meetings_struct):

class MeetingsAPIView(MeetingsBaseView):
def get(self, request, *args, **kwargs):
meetings = self.get_meetings()
meetings_struct = []

for meeting in meetings:
meetings_struct.append({
"id": meeting.id,
"name": meeting.title,
"slug": meeting.slug,
})

return HttpResponse(meetings_struct, content_type="application/json")

If I activate the venv and use runserver manually on the server on port 80,
the same view does not give an error. When the same code and venv are
running under Apache, here's the error from Apache's logs:

[Sat Apr 18 16:11:30.683980 2020] [wsgi:error] [pid 4154] [remote

I've rolled back to a previous version that works, running Django 2.2; the
rest of the stack is the same. This one has me puzzled, as using the same
deployed code with the same venv that Apache is configured to use works
fine under runserver, but errors with mod_wsgi. I've tried stopping and
starting Apache, running the publish process again for a fresh venv and
code base, and even rebooting the server. The same error occurs, but only
under Apache / mod_wsgi.

Any ideas? I'm puzzled!

Re: PROBLEM WITH Multiple SETTINGS.PY FILE

2020-05-16 Thread Jorge Gimeno
It's coming from your settings file. I would try this:

In this line here:
elif HOST == "Sai" :
from settings_dev_sai import *

I would try to make the second line:
from .settings_dev_sai import *

See if Python can find the module that way. If Python does, then all of
the imports in that file need to be changed.

If that's not the case, then we need to see what the directory structure
looks like to figure this out.

deploying django project with mod_wsgi and apache

2020-05-16 Thread みやうち`
I got completely stuck deploying django to production.

I deployed my project using apache and mod_wsgi, and then it hangs I access
it with browser.
Neither django nor apache gives me any errors at all, so I can't guess the
cause of problem.
Since it can be accessed by starting with "runserver",
I think there's nothing wrong with the project.
Also, I can access it successfully when I deployed a simple test app with
apache and mod_wsgi,
I think there is no problem with the configuration of apache, mod_wsgi and
my server.

It would be very helpful if you give me any idea of the cause or way of
investigate it.

My environment
django : 2.1.15
mod_wsgi : 4.7.1
apache : 2.4.6

note = Note.objects.get(pk=form.pk)
book.notes.add(note)
form.save()
return redirect('books:book')
return render(request, template_name, {
