Re: win32 dia with python
Hi Mike, > Has anybody got Dia with Python support working in Windows? I've just compiled the Dia Python plugin using Python 2.2. However, I did not have time for testing. If I receive some positive feedback, I'll include the plug-in in the next Dia for Windows installer. http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/dia-installer/dia-python-0.95.1.zip?download Regards, Steffen ___ Dia-list mailing list Dia-list@gnome.org http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/dia-list FAQ at http://www.gnome.org/projects/dia/faq.html Main page at http://www.gnome.org/projects/dia

Steffen Thank you very much - I have downloaded and started making progress. I'll keep you posted. Steffen I downloaded and installed Python 2.2.3 (previously using 2.4) and rebooted etc. Python 2.2.3 is now my dominant Python. Starting Dia I get Dia: Error ... Could not load plugin 'C:\Program Files\Dia\dia\dia-python.dll' GModule initialization check failed: Wrong plugin API version Not sure where to go here. Is there anything I should try with Python? Re: win32 dia with python
Mike, I've used Python 2.2.3 from www.python.org to compile. It was installed in the default location (c:\Python22) The problem is that I used the current CVS HEAD of dia to compile. Looks like I have to go back to 0.95-1. I hope I'll manage this later today...
