James, is it possible to also send this message to Harbour developers?

This was a criticism of the last batch announcement, and it makes sense
that you might want harbour developers to join the program too.

About the Harbour issue:

All of the developers should technically be here on the Devel mailing
list as we do not have a separate mailing list for Harbour members.

It seems that today's Jolla C batch went on sale at 10:00 UTC instead of the
Announced 12:00 UTC

It is consistent with the time James sent the announcement email:

https://lists.sailfishos.org/pipermail/devel/2016-June/007190.html

James Noori james.noori at jolla.com

Tue Jun 14 10:00:14 UTC 2016

and is consistent with TJC posts on the new sale:
https://together.jolla.com/question/135407/jolla-c-campaign-to-add-more-users-whos-interested/?answer=136393#post-id-136393

so that explains why is already sold out.

well, let's wait for a new batch..

I managed to order one. They went on sale at 10:59am in the UK. That's 1
hour before central Europe time and 2 hours before Finland time. They
said it would go on at 1pm Finland time so I think it was correct.

They really do need to put more on sale though, I'm amazed Intex won't
sell them more OEM units.

Time announced on ML was 1pm EET (local .fi time), which is UTC+3, the shop

How is UK time +0200? BST is UTC+1?!

James, you might want to announce in UTC from now on.

I think you're all missing the point. Yes I screwed up by mis-reading
the time BUT, I got an email at 12 o'clock UK time saying that the
devices were now available when plainly they weren't. They had all been
sold by then. So I claim the email mis-represented the state of the

All of the developers should technically be here on the Devel mailing

I think the idea is to send an email to all developers registered to

There could be a non trivial amount of people who registered to Harbour

but are not subscribed to the sailfish-devel mailing list.

Should this happen to you, we kindly advise you to complete a new
order at your earliest convenience; please do not attempt to fix
or otherwise redo an existing order. While this may lead to
having multiple failed orders with this status, our experience
has shown that eventually reordering will result in a
successfully completed order. Jolla will then cancel any orders
in the shop that are stuck in "Waiting for Payment" status
without prior consent or notification.

If you did not secure your place already, we hope to see you soon
in the Sailfish Community Device Program!

Kind Regards,
James Noori, on behalf of the Jolla Team
