Re: libimobiledevice stack update and soname bump

2024-09-29 Thread Alessandro Astone

Built kf5-solid, kf6-solid, kio-extras, kio-extras-kf5 in the sidetag.

Due to timing I've built a new minor version of kio-extras in your
sidetag. That might have an effect on the update's gating: if any issues
arise I'll be available to address them.

Because KDE updates are released as bundles of hundreds of packages I
prefer the KDE-SIG coordinate rebuilds with our release schedule, so I'm
not granting the asahi-sig access at the moment. Since the KDE-SIG is
active and we even share a member I'm confident this won't be a problem :)

Just FYI, this appears to have broken the exising xorg-x11-drv-armsoc
build, causing rawhide composes to fail the last few days. :)

I just did a simple rebuild to get rawhide composes working again, but I
have no way of testing that hardware off hand, so more work may be
needed there.

I've retired it, TBH I thought I had some time ago, there's now
official MALI support in kernel/mesa and that should work now on all
the HW we care about.

Hello, all.

I have just orphaned perl-MooX-Role-Parameterized.

Newer versions of the application depend on the Perl module

libimobiledevice stack update and soname bump

2024-09-29 Thread Davide Cavalca

Hey folks,

I'm updating the libimobiledevice stack in Rawhide. There are soname
bumps for libimobiledevice, libirecovery and libusbmuxd. In addition to
the stack itself, these packages will need to be rebuilt to accommodate
for the bumps:

clementine
gvfs
kf5-solid
kf6-solid
kio-extras
kio-extras-kf5
libgpod
upower
