There's some ongoing issues with bodhi and / or the fedora message queue so that some messages don't get passed around and then don't trigger the necessary actions in koji/bodhi. If you look at, for example, the updates for rawhide (which should get created and pushed to stable and testing automatically), you'll see that for two days, things have not been working as they should, with most things still stuck in the pending state: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/releases/F32 This is also the reason why there were no updates-testing composes for 30 and 31 since then. You already have it: https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/wdune And from the looks of it, you have not even attempted to read the documentation we pointed you to ... 1. First, you imported the exploded upstream tarball into dist-git 2. you removed them (which is good) 3. then you reimported all the sources (BUT WHY) and removed the .spec file from the repo (uhm ...?) 4. with the next commit you added back the .spec file but also committed some temporary (config.*) files that are spit out by the build (??) 5. and with the last commit you removed the BuildRequires that aren't available in koji yet, because you haven't built them first (that won't help you to get this building ...) and even committed the bodhi update template ... So, to summarize: Please just STOP what you're doing right now, and wait (possibly until after the holidays) until your sponsor can help you get this sorted out. fedora infrastructure issues: don't panic, it's not your fault
Hi all, There have been some reports that multiple fedora services are currently not working. It might be a good idea to post this to devel as a new thread to make sure more people see it and don't start panicking because their builds are failing or bodhi sends them cryptic error messages. - This issue is already being tracked: https://status.fedoraproject.org/ - It looks like the fedora message queues arent working correctly: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/issue/8477 This is affecting bodhi (updates are not getting pushed to the correct tags and repos) and koji (builds are not moved to the correct tags, probably because bodhi doesn't tell it to, and there are no new composes of updates-testing), greenwave started to fail, and I think it's even starting to affect COPR builds from what I've read. So don't panic if your build fails or doesn't get pushed to -testing or rawhide. It's not a problem with your package / build, but fedora infrastructure seems to suffer from cookie coma. Unfortunately, jackson has already been retired, but since it's a Java package and I have zero experience with that, I have not filed a releng ticket for that. Feel free to contact me when you get back home & enjoy your trip in the meantime! Ok, no problem. Another solution that I thought, but didn't work, was "Create new update" on bodhi (for the fc32 package).
