f27 builds in Koji are getting tagged with .fc26 currently, so I
suggest holding off on rawhide builds for now that you also want to
push to f26 until this is fixed.

No.

It seems that the error message really meant "the service is down",
because it works as of this morning.

And vice versa it seems. I just started a build in f26 which got
tagged with .fc27 (I cancelled it before it finished).

I'm already working on corrections and clarifications for the Go ones, I hope
that I will open PR today.

Got bug opened against them on Mon
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1426790 ;).

IMO it would be cool, if they would get reviewed by golang and golang based
package maintainers before publishing them in the future. :)

Oh... darn they have changed since Mon, more to review. And I will have to
re-base all of my changes... :/
I guess PR will be there in few days.

Great. Do not worry if the corrections are not perfect. We can still merge it
to devel instance and you can subsequently send amends the in another PR. This
shortens the devel->staging->production cycle, because we can review it
'continuously'(when we get some spare cycles).

Please subscribe to developer-portal ML[1], where you can get updates on
staging versions.

Self-introduction

2017-03-01 Thread Artem Goncharov
Hello everyone,

My name is Artem and I would like to join the python-devel group.

I am a Software/Solution architect with experience in Telecom and
databases. Due to the work I never had a change to participate actively in
OS development activities, but since FC4 I am with Fedora and always do try
to test Betas on all of my workstations. So in this or other way I am a
long running contributor to Fedora community. Now the time came, when I
would participate more actively to get a different experience.

Python is just another language on my skills list. But since I have started
with it relatively recently I would like to deepen my knowledge while doing
something useful for the community.

I have started supporting Python3 port activities (reviews are still
pending ;-), but that is definitely not the only thing I will be able to
bring. I would be glad if someone will be able to review my specs and point
on problems to start bringing use sooner.

With the hope of a close and useful partnership and the best regards,
Artem

I've just tagged fedora-release-26-0.5 fedora-repos-26-0.7 into f26 so
with the next new-repo that should hopefully be resolved too.

Welcome!

Could you add a link to the specs here, if you've filed bugs already?
There's quite a large backlog of Python packages that reviewers need to
go through, but writing here could maybe make things faster :)

Packaging/reviews is probably the best way to get into Fedora
contributions. If you watch this list, you should see what people are
working on, and hopefully find other opportunities to get involved.

If you need any help, be sure to let us know!

[Bug 1427853] perl-Object-InsideOut-4.04 is available

2017-03-01 Thread bugzilla
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1427853

Paul Howarth changed:

   What|Removed |Added

   Fixed In Version|perl-Object-InsideOut-4.04- |perl-Object-InsideOut-4.04-
   |1.fc24 |1.fc26

Hi Petr, F-24 and F-25 builds are done; I thought you might want to edit the
existing updates for perl-Object-InsideOut-4.03 to pick up the new packages,
though they're only a fix for systems with old threads::shared versions so it's
not really important.

[EPEL-devel] PROBLEM WITH NAGIOS-4.2.4

2017-03-01 Thread Stephen John Smoogen
Nagios-4.2.4 got pushed to epel stable this week. I thought I had put
it in to be more weeks and a higher karma but something I did later
screwed that up.

As shown in https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1427895
this breaks existing installs. I had hoped this was fixed and found
from other testing but clearly I missed a lot of cases. I am working
on what can be done to fix this, but at the moment my apologies.

First, thank you for taking care of this package

gstreamer was disabled, is a typo or is ?

Also we may enable openni, eigen3, tbb, atlas and vtk support, what is
your opinion ? patch in attach at least eigen3 and tbb seems be
more known therefore I think we should / may  enable it .

Best regards,

Re: Orphaned Packages in rawhide (2017-03-01)

Is there a way to request a package owned by somebody else to be retired?

I am asking, because during the recent mass rebuilt, a larger number
packages have been rebuilt, whose maintainers are known to have left
Fedora or apparently do not seem/do not seem to be able to care about
their packages.
