[dev] [st] Bug numpad does not seem to work correctly in vim
I just started using updated st, and also started writing some code in Vim, I immediately noticed that numpad * does not work(it seems to insert j in the line above current). Since I had compiled st couple of days ago, I pulled in tip and tried again, this is still the case, and it also seems all other numpad keys are acting funky too.
[dev] Minimal distributions
Hi there, Just because I'm really curious, I'm searching minimal GNU/Linux distributions with the following options: - x86_64 architecture - minimal installation - no default Desktop Environment - rolling release Someone talked about another distrib' on a previous subject, but I cannot find it. You can tell me I should use Google instead of asking you, but I had many foolish or similar results. What interests me, it's your opinion. No need to talk about Gentoo, Slackware or Debian, I already know those distributions. Regards
[dev] [st] Terminus font
I had problems with font set to "Terminus:pixelsize=16:antialias=false:autohint=false". Line drawing characters and all non-english characters were replaced with squares. There were some messages in this mailing list with suggestion to use Liberation Mono [1][2]. Liberation Mono looks ugly (for me) so I looked for proper solution. In fact there are no problems with Terminus. As README states "A lot of characters are available only under X11/ISO10646-1 (UTF+8/Unicode)." But instead of using "make install" I had to use "make install-pcf-646" so only ter-x*.pcf fonts are installed. This way unicode Terminus fonts are used and there are no missing characters. Is there any way to make Xft use "ter-x*.pcf" files without removing other ter-*.pcf files? Maybe that way we can return back to Terminus as default font. - text mail next time - what's wrong with tinybsd?
Re: [dev] [st] Terminus font
That sounds like a fontconfig question, you can probably set some options specific to terminus in your .fontconfig file

Re: [dev] Minimal distributions
You probably heard about Arch too then, but it also has a x64_86 version with all the packages.(which less people seem to know)

Re: [dev] Minimal distributions
I didn't talk about Arch because I already use it. 2012/11/23 Roel Deckers > You probably heard about Arch too then, but it also has a x64_86 version > with all the packages.(which less people seem to know)

I'm quite sure that you've seen Wikipedia list of rolling release distros [1]. But somehow you aren't convinced. As seen previously in such threads there will be no helpful conclusions. You can prepare for: "everything sucks", "you suck" or "make your own". Do you want minimal installation as in minimal installation and big available software repository or as in minimal installation and not much more? If the former you already know that you can choose only from derivatives of popular distributions. If the latter can you really expect satisfactory rolling release model? You want "our" opinion, but there is "No need to talk about (...)". Maybe there is not a lot more to say then? GNU/Linux distribution that you would like does not exist (yet?). He's in charge here! Just spit out the required information! Adhere to the parameters set! Why are you arguing? Immediate response is the only thing that suits a man in his position!
