Hi Loba,

I am new in using OpenOffice QAtrack. So need some help on this.
I already have a TCM And OpenOffice.org account. What is the procedure to do
QA of OpenOffice projects? To view the status regarding my language (bn) and
to add my language (bn), what i have to do?

Here is some information about the project.

project: OpenOffice
version : For all versions
Plateform: Linux/Intel , Windows/Intel, Sun solaris
Language : bangla (bn)

Kind regards, Joost

2009-12-14 Thread Joost Andrae

Hi Loba,

I've added the role QAL for Bengali (bn) in QATrack. I'm not really sure
about this because there are already two localization projects Bengali
(Bangladesh) bn-BD and Bengali (India) bn-IN listed at
http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Languages
Maybe I'll have to change this or I have to add the roles for bn-BD and
bn-IN as well.

You can login into QATrack by using your OpenOffice.org login name and
by using your OpenOffice.org password. If you want to approve a release
then please add the files which you plan to release into QATrack and add
a status (eg. approved) to these files. Additionally file an issue to
the QA project to trigger the distribution of the files to the
OpenOffice.org mirror network.

Take http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=104560 as an
example. To file the issue please login first to the OpenOffice.org
website and then use
http://www.openoffice.org/issues/enter_bug.cgi?component=qa

Kind regards, Joost

Actually OOo has support for both bn-BD and bn-IN locale, but currently we
do localization only for Bengali (bn). Me from Bangladesh and Sayamindu from
India - both are leading Bengali (bn). Loba is working with us.
