Just translate (again) file msg_prop_l10n_sh.js and then it will be
functional I think. Then rename index_new.html to index.html.

Thanks. In the meantime, while volunteers translate msg_prop_l10n_sh.js
to sr-latn, I've applied the quick workaround so that at least a
download link is shown.

Anyone using publish.pl?

2014-08-24 Thread Andrea Pescetti

Using the CMS to edit the OpenOffice sites becomes quickly painful.

A few months ago, remembering an ancient message from Ariel, I gave
publish.pl a try but it constantly fails for me with this message:

$ perl publish.pl ooo-site pescetti
LDAP User (^D aborts): pescetti
LDAP Password for 'pescetti' (^D aborts):
Client API Version: 1.10
View unified diff of changes (y/n)? y
OK to poll build (y/n)? y
Build complete: status=success.
Bad GET response: 500 only SSL_ca_path or SSL_ca_file should be given

It's hard for me to detect whether the publication still succeeds, since
with CMS problems, caching and other people publishing their changes I
cannot rule out that the problem is somewhere else. But still I'm
curious to know if others are successfully publishing through publish.pl.

Thanks,
  Andrea.

I get the same error on Fedora 20, something is wrong with the logic
that sets both $ca_file and $ca_path in publish.pl, but as you can read
in line 34, there is an environment variable to get rid of it:

[ariel@localhost webgui]$ export IGNORE_CERT=1
[ariel@localhost webgui]$ perl publish.pl ooo-site arielch
LDAP User (^D aborts): arielch
LDAP Password for 'arielch' (^D aborts):
Client API Version: 1.10
View unified diff of changes (y/n)? n
OK to poll build (y/n)? y
Build complete: status=success.
Log message (^D to end message):
OK to continue (y/n)? y
Awaiting server response to publication request...
200 OK
Committed revision 920327.

If you are in people.apache.org, it works out of the box.

The event could hold a couple of hundred people, I will need to ask
the managers about the volume of people attending but certainly having
some swag might help. I would say 100 pins might be enough.

Going back to funding for traveling, I want to confirm there is none. Regards.

You can find all links here:
http://www.openoffice.org/marketing/art/galleries/logos/index.html ;
from a quick look, printing 100 buttons and shipping them to Mexico
would be about 40 USD, or 60 USD for 200 buttons.

Feel free to find a different provider or to propose a different design
(for example, the current design could be completed by a white small
"www.openoffice.org" near the border at the bottom).

Process: finalize design, decide how many you need, ask here for budget
allocation for that amount, wait for consensus, pay and contact the
Treasurer for reimbursement (ask for further details when we come to this).

To avoid too many requests from unsubscribed senders, we shouldn't

But it makes sense to give some more visibility to the current "mailing

http://openoffice.apache.org/native-lang.html ; the idea behind using
icons was probably to avoid to display English text, but all linked

arrange it (with these two "indirect" links, to the pages describing
English and N-L lists) we can take a look.

Good to know, thanks for the tip. Actually what I wanted to do was to

This indeed seemed a temporary network error.

If you get stuck with anything regarding download of dictionaries, you
can simply edit the extensions.lst file, disable them and proceed (and
then add them later); but build-time download always worked for me.
