Reporting a problem with the OpenOffice website
Hello On http://www.openoffice.org/de/downloads/ there is a problem with the download: If one chooses 4.1.0 Beta, 4.1.0 (not Beta) is downloaded, and vice-versa. I gave it a try and it seems to work correctly with 4.1.0. My goal is to release a new extension in the beginning of June. That would be perfect, so in this first month of availability of OpenOffice 4.1 users are not immediately prompted with the extension update (which might be confusing to some). I tried but it isn't working for me. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or if our cwiki has problems. I left the broken alias in the page, in case someone figures out how to do it properly (it's invisible unless one is editing the page anyway). Me too. Maybe the macro is not correctly configured. - It's not listed in the sub-categories. Only when listing "All" or searching for it. - When entering the term "@self" for telling to use the current webpage as root webpage, I get a list of files even not located in the AOO project. I'll try to ask tomorrow my colleague @ work. The "Alias" is a plugin that is not installed in the company's Confluence instance where I work. So, no fast help from here. :-( We have no Marcus - To unsubscribe, e-mail: dev-unsubscr...@openoffice.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: dev-h...@openoffice.apache.org

[Rob: Did we not mention the Beta on the Forum? ] Indeed, I don't see it in the announcements of the English forum, even though it was announced in other forums. But I believe that the main reason for a low percentage of people who had heard that the Beta was available through the forum is simply that your survey was not announced on the forum. My bad. I've had some hectic moments in March and April, couldn't really keep an eye on the ML. I'll try to think about it in the future. I disabled the 4.1.0-Beta and 4.1.0-dev versions, disabled the 4.1.0 target milestone, added a 4.2.0-dev version, also created a new 4.2.0 target and disabled the 4.1.0-release-blocker flag. Another small fix to do: "Latest confirmation on" should be updated accordingly, and probably only keep 4.1.0 and 4.2.0-dev. Do we still need the "OOo 3.4.0 Beta"? I would disable this as-well as IMHO it is no linger needed like 4.1.0 Beta. That beta was special. It was the last release by Oracle and it is quite different from 3.4.0 final, that was the first Apache release. It's good to keep it to know whether a bug originated at Apache, where we can investigate it more easily, or before Apache. Broken Bugzilla link in Release Notes
Our 4.1 release notes https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/OOOUSERS/AOO+4.1+Release+Notes contain a link to Bugzilla for a list of fixed bugs https://issues.apache.org/ooo/buglist.cgi?cmdtype=dorem&remaction=run&namedcmd=AOO_410_Resolved but the list does not work for me at the moment. If I am not logged in, it prompts for a login, but if I open the link while logged in I get an error: "The search named AOO_410_Resolved does not exist." Can it be fixed? Knowtilus Apps' iOS Textilus App
I came across Textilus for iOS. It claims that it can "Create and edit documents for Microsoft Word, Open Office, Scrivener, Nisus Writer, etc." (http://www.textilusapp.com/ See "Features.") Does anyone have any experience with it? There's a free version, which I'm about to try. "Free" means I don't pay for it; it is not open source, afaik. The pricier version is about 6USD. I would be a little surprised if this is really all that it suggests it is and also possessed of a usable UI.
