Following a plebiscite on the Marketing Project dev list, I am delighted
to announce that Florian Effenberger has been confirmed as the new Project
Lead for the Marketing Project. Florian has given me tremendous support as
co-Lead since June 2007, and he has the full confidence of the project to
take the marketing activities of OOo forward into our tenth anniversary
year.

Please give him your full support as he takes up his new role. I'll be
helping him as co-Lead during the transition period.
