Talks Needed for Apache Track at OW2Con in Paris
Hi All Some more good news and ways to promote Apache at different events! We have been offered a ½ day Apache track at OW2Con which will run on 7th and 8th June 2018 in Paris. https://www.ow2con.org/2018/ Our ½ day track has been provisionally reserved for the afternoon on 7th June. The standard talk duration is 20 minutes but tend to find that a little short, so I would suggest that we extend that slightly to be 30 minutes, to be able to incorporate any questions. This means that we will need 8 presentations to fill ½ days (4 hours). In order to fit in with the general OW2 audience our track talks will need to fit into the following categories: - Application Platforms - Privacy & Security - Accessibility - Open Cloud - IoT - AI - BPM - Big Data and BI - Blockchain - Infrastructure Automation - Software Testing - Software quality and market readiness The conference language is English, and in the past we have had speakers from Apache participate at this event. What about creating a Git/GitHub svn2git mirror for projects.apache.org?
This would be our first Git repo for community/comdev: I don't know which
prefix
we should use...
Any objection?
Perhaps we can do the same for the 3 other locations in svn
