[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1078519] [NEW] Archive manager does not suggest a package for password protected 7zip files

2012-11-13 Thread Stephen Kraemer
Public bug reported:

When opening a 7zip file in Archive Manager without a package to handle
7zip files, it suggests downloading and installing the p7zip package.
This is great! The problem is that if you go to open a password-
protected 7zip file, it simply gets an error, and does not suggest
downloading the p7zip-full package to remedy this.

Distro: Ubuntu 12.10 64 bit
Package Version: file-roller 3.6.1.1-0ubuntu1

Expected Functionality: Archive Manager suggests downloading p7zip-full in a
similar fashion to how it suggested downloading p7zip
Actual Functionality: Archive Manager just displays that there is an error with
the file.

Additional details: p7zip displays an error message "E_NOTIMPL" when
trying to decompress a password-protected file through the terminal.

** Affects: file-roller (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Undecided
 Status: New
