[Bug 134214] Re: [gutsy] no sound alert on new mail in evolution
I would like to re-open this for INtrepid, it seems the problem persists. Nothing I do will allow sound to play when a new email is received. It worked on the beta, but after a clean install to the final Intrepid, incoming mail sounds do not work for me. same issues here. Re: [Bug 292585] Re: Evolution Mail Notification has no sound
It worked for me. I mapped the sound to a location in /usr/share/sounds, and made sure it was a .wav file, and for the first time this is issuing sounds for incoming mail! could have sworn i tried that before... thanks On Tue, Jan 6, 2009 at 2:32 PM, Ender wrote: > I've found a workaround for this one. [Bug 337845] Re: Evolution does not sync with Google Calendar
I use Google Calendar as well, and it works fine in Intrepid. I notice two things missing in Jaunty when selecting Google for your calendar, and these two things are key.. The username and password fields are missing. The "name" field is not the same as username, and since you cannot provide a valid username or password, there is no way for Evolution to connect with Google to fetch the calendar. -- Evolution does not sync with Google Calendar https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/337845 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
