[Bug 134214] Re: [gutsy] no sound alert on new mail in evolution

2008-11-25 Thread mykrob
I would like to re-open this for INtrepid, it seems the problem
persists. Nothing I do will allow sound to play when a new email is
received. It worked on the beta, but after a clean install to the final
Intrepid, incoming mail sounds do not work for me.

Help?

thanks

same issues here. Every sound on the system works fine for me except
incoming email, even when set to default.

Re: [Bug 292585] Re: Evolution Mail Notification has no sound

2009-01-06 Thread mykrob
It worked for me. I mapped the sound to a location in /usr/share/sounds, and
made sure it was a .wav file, and for the first time this is issuing sounds
for incoming mail!

could have sworn i tried that before...

thanks

[Bug 571431] [NEW] Brasero regression - will not burn audio cd

2010-04-28 Thread mykrob
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: brasero

I am unable to burn an audio cd with Brasero. I have not tried a data cd
or dvd, but this worked for me just fine in all previous Ubuntus, upto
and including the beta 2 test phase. I performed a clean installation
with the RC disk, and have not been able to burn since. A burn log from
Brasero is included.

thanks

[Bug 337845] Re: Evolution does not sync with Google Calendar

2009-03-31 Thread mykrob
I use Google Calendar as well, and it works fine in Intrepid. I notice
two things missing in Jaunty when selecting Google for your calendar,
and these two things are key.. The username and password fields are
missing. The "name" field is not the same as username, and since you
cannot provide a valid username or password, there is no way for
Evolution to connect with Google to fetch the calendar.
