[Bug 419886] [NEW] rhythmbox depends on media-player-id but media-player-id is not in repository
Public bug reported: I'm running Ubuntu 9.10 alpha 4 with all the latest package updates installed except one: rhythmbox. Rhythmbox version 0.12.4-1ubuntu1 depends on a package called media-player-id, but media-player-id is not available in any repositories. I have main, universe, restricted, and multiverse enabled, as well as karmic-security, karmic-updates, karmic- proposed, and karmic-backports. ** Affects: rhythmbox (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: karmic media-player-id rhythmbox -- rhythmbox depends on media-player-id but media-player-id is not in repository https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/419886 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to rhythmbox in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 419886] Re: rhythmbox depends on media-player-id but media-player-id is not in repository
I see media-player-id has been added to the repos. Marking this as invalid since it was fixed so soon I don't know if anyone even noticed this bug report. ** Description changed: I'm running Ubuntu 9.10 alpha 4 with all the latest package updates installed except one: rhythmbox. [Bug 409216] Re: devicekit prompts for authentication to mount internal disk at every login
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 396448 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/396448 I'm having the same problem, I think. My computer asks me, every time it boots, for authentication so that it can mount my Windows partition (NTFS, Windows Vista). In System->Administration->Authorizations, I have set it to allow mounting internal disks without authentication, to see if it would make any difference, and it doesn't. The action identifier in Authorizations is org.freedesktop.hal.storage.mount-fixed. I forget what the identifier is in the authentication dialog but it's not the same. -- devicekit prompts for authentication to mount internal disk at every login https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/409216 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gvfs in ubuntu (via bug 396448). -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 427953] [NEW] unable to setup evolution, no 'apply' button
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution I just set up the latest alpha of Ubuntu Karmic and installed all available updates. Now I'm trying to set up Evolution. I open Evolution and go through all the steps of entering my account information, but when I finish, I get this screen. Notice that there is no 'apply' button. Clicking the 'Forward' button takes me back to the beginning of the setup assistant, and clicking 'Cancel' does what it should: it cancels the setup attempt. Steps to reproduce: (Running a fresh installation of Ubuntu & Evolution, so no already-existing configuration) 1) Click the Evolution icon on Ubuntu's top bar 2) Go through the setup wizard, putting in all necessary information What should happen: At the end of the setup wizard there should be an 'apply' button which you can click to save your configuration. What actually happens: No 'apply' button, 'forward' button visible instead. ** Affects: evolution (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apply assistant email evolution mail setup -- unable to setup evolution, no 'apply' button https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/427953 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to evolution in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
