[Bug 474410] [NEW] Problem with transfering to nas in nautilus as reporting 0 bytes free space
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus while transfering files to NAS with cifs file system an error is produced advising that there is not enough free space for transfer. In properties of drive free space is shown as "unknown". I know that the capacity of the NAS is 400gb split in to two partitions one fat32 (about 40 GB) and one ntfs (about 360 GB) I believe that this is similar to bug #373477 but as this is the first time I am reporting a bug I wasn't sure how to link to this bug and it wasn't one of the options in the "Is the bug you’re reporting one of these?" section other than that I am very impressed with 9.10 so far and wonder of wonders the ATI drivers actually work . [Bug 474410] Re: Problem with transfering to nas in nautilus as reporting 0 bytes free space
Thank you Sebastien for the reply I will do as you say and create a bug report for bugzilla gnome. What would you like me to do within launchpad with this bug. As I am a complete nube I don't know what to do next do I nominate it for release. I think that the system of bug reporting is much better than Microsoft as you actually talk to a human about the problem. Which makes sense if a human is going to solve the problem. -- Problem with transfering to nas in nautilus as reporting 0 bytes free space https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/474410 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 662885] [NEW] PDF Compositing error
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evince I have an error in Evince where a PDF created in Openoffice with OO standard PDF settings has an problem with displaying Gradients. In specific each of the text boxes has a gradient background which shows as a single bar of each colour in the gradient at the top and bottom of the text box. I have checked the PDF on a windows machine and the PDF displays correctly so I know there are no problems with any of the PDF files. I will attach a screen shot as soon as I can. [Bug 662885] Re: PDF Compositing error
This is a screenshot showing the problem you can see a yellow bar at the top of the text box and a blue bar at the bottom and white between where there should be a gradient between the two colours. ** Attachment added: "a screenshot showing an error in the compositing of a PDF by Evince" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evince/+bug/662885/+attachment/1701105/+files/Screenshot3.png -- PDF Compositing error https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/662885 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to evince in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 662885] Re: PDF Compositing error
hi sorry I have been working on a website build. I have attached a test page of the pdf as it is actually part of an e-book I am making for my partner ** Attachment added: "Test pdf containing gradient which is not compositing correctly" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evince/+bug/662885/+attachment/1722197/+files/bp1test.pdf -- PDF Compositing error https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/662885 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to evince in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 662885] Re: PDF Compositing error
Thanks for the quick response madbiologist, I think this is more of a paper cut than a serious bug but as I use pdf a lot I tend to see it alot. One thing I noticed is that the pdf I sent has an open office generated gradient in other pdf's I have which contain png images with gradients you get a perfect output. Don't know if that helps but just thought I would mention it. -- PDF Compositing error https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/662885 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to evince in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
