[Bug 643883] Re: detecting "discharging" is wrong
@ombako Before I switched to Linux Ubuntu, I had used Windows where I chose an option to the case when my battery is charged up to 80% to maximize LIFETIME of the battery like it is described here: http://forums.lenovo.com/t5/IdeaPad-Y-and-U-series-Laptops/Z560-Battery-80-available-plugged-in-not-charging-Energy/ta-p/309028 I did it in Lenovo Energy Management. Have you done the same? It might be a source of the problem :) -- detecting "discharging" is wrong https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/643883 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-power-manager in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 643883] Re: detecting "discharging" is wrong
@ombako I could solve this problem by taking the battery out and plugging it back after a while. The status is detected correctly. Moreover, the battery is charging to 100% now. I hope it will help! -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-power-manager in ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/643883 Title: detecting "discharging" is wrong -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
