[Bug 48922] find by category returns false positives
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gthumb When sorting images by category using the "find" feature of gThumb, the search results contain false hits if one category name is a substring of another category name. For example, if I have two categories, one called "foo" and another called "foobar" and I use the "find" feature to search for all images of category "foo", the search results will include all images in category "foo" and all images in category "foobar". The correct behavior should be to return only images in category "foo". ** Affects: gthumb (Ubuntu) Importance: Untriaged Status: Unconfirmed -- find by category returns false positives https://launchpad.net/bugs/48922 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 50728] Launcher icon selection dialog doesn't work after initial selection.
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-panel When trying to change the icon of a gnome-panel custom application launcher, the icon dialog flashes on screen but then disappears before any selection can be made. The icon selection dialog works fine when creating the custom application launcher. I've only seen the problem appear when trying to change the icon of an existing custom application launcher. [Bug 508983] [NEW] gnome-display-properties multi-head settings seem to be reset on reboot
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-control-center I'm running a laptop w/ a monitor attached. The default seems to be to mirror the screens, which doesn't make sense in itself (why would I want two screens with the same thing?) But if I change the settings they reset after every reboot. So, after rebooting, the mirror screens box isn't checked, but the screens are mirrored. The only way to fix it is to turn the monitor off and turn it back on (in the gnome-display-properties.) Just right now I mirrored the screens and then un-mirrored them, but they don't un-mirror. Again, disabling then re-enabling the external monitor is the only way to set them up right. Should this be filed under metacity? gnome 2.28.1 metacity 2.28.0 ** Affects: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- gnome-display-properties multi-head settings seem to be reset on reboot https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/508983 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 53168] Re: Screen flickers even when gnome-screensaver is disabled.
It's still there, but now instead of flickering, the screen dims part way and remains dim until the mouse or keyboard is used, at which point the LCD brightness icon pops up to indicate that full brightness has been restored.
