[Bug 48922] find by category returns false positives

2006-06-07 Thread TM
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gthumb

When sorting images by category using the "find" feature of gThumb, the
search results contain false hits if one category name is a substring of
another category name. For example, if I have two categories, one
called "foo" and another called "foobar" and I use the "find" feature to
search for all images of category "foo", the search results will include
all images in category "foo" and all images in category "foobar". The
correct behavior should be to return only images in category "foo".

[Bug 50723] Tools->Create Web Album default "clean" theme does not exist.

2006-06-22 Thread TM
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gthumb

The default web album theme ("clean") in gthumb does not appear in the

details:

[Bug 50728] Launcher icon selection dialog doesn't work after initial selection.

2006-06-22 Thread TM
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-panel

When trying to change the icon of a gnome-panel custom application
launcher, the icon dialog flashes on screen but then disappears before
any selection can be made. The icon selection dialog works fine when
creating the custom application launcher. I've only seen the problem
appear when trying to change the icon of an existing custom application
launcher.

I'm using Ubuntu Dapper Drake 6.06 Desktop.

"uname -a" returns
"2.6.15-25-386 #1 PREEMPT Wed Jun 14 11:25:49 UTC 2006 i686 GNU/Linux"

"dpkg -l gnome-panel" returns "2.14.2-0ubuntu1" as the package version.

[Bug 53168] Re: Screen flickers even when gnome-screensaver is disabled.

2006-07-17 Thread TM
I mean that the System->Preferences->Screensaver dialog shows:

Screensaver: GLMatrix
Set session as idle after: 1 minute
Activate screensaver when session is idle: unchecked

I am not running any other screensaver daemons.

[Bug 508983] [NEW] gnome-display-properties multi-head settings seem to be reset on reboot

2010-01-17 Thread tm
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-control-center

I'm running a laptop w/ a monitor attached.

The default seems to be to mirror the screens, which doesn't make sense
in itself (why would I want two screens with the same thing?) But if I
change the settings they reset after every reboot.

So, after rebooting, the mirror screens box isn't checked, but the
screens are mirrored. The only way to fix it is to turn the monitor off
and turn it back on (in the gnome-display-properties.)

Just right now I mirrored the screens and then un-mirrored them, but
they don't un-mirror. Again, disabling then re-enabling the external
monitor is the only way to set them up right.

Should this be filed under metacity?

gnome 2.28.1
metacity 2.28.0

[Bug 102495] Always Ignore photo card option doesn't work.

2007-08-02 Thread TM
You have been subscribed to a public bug:

When inserting flash memory card used in a digital camera (Canon
PowerShot SD300), the "Photo Import" dialog appears asking me if I want
to "Import Photos" or "Ignore" the card. There is also a checkbox
titled "Always perform this action". Clicking the checkbox and then
clicking "Ignore" does not have the desired effect -- the same dialog
appears the next time the photo card is inserted.

[Bug 53168] Re: Screen flickers even when gnome-screensaver is disabled.

2007-04-19 Thread TM
It's still there, but now instead of flickering, the screen dims part
way and remains dim until the mouse or keyboard is used, at which point
the LCD brightness icon pops up to indicate that full brightness has
been restored. I'm using the same hardware as originally reported, but
now running Ubuntu Edgy.

[Bug 50723] Re: Tools->Create Web Album default "clean" theme does not exist.

2006-12-24 Thread TM
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I'm now running Ubuntu 6.10
(Edgy) with gthumb 2.7.9. It appears that the "clean" theme is no
longer included in this version and that the problem has been fixed.
Thanks. -TM-
