[Bug 8238] Re: Shutdown from meny does not shutdown computer, goes to GDM login screen

2009-06-01 Thread Matvei Fisenko
After upgrading to Ubuntu 9.04 from Ubuntu 8.10 I got the same issue.
System is up-to-date.

When I press "Shutdown" button the screen goes blank than it shows me login
screen.
Expected result - computer shutdown.

If I try "sudo halt" command - it works fine, computer shuts off.

uname -a = "Linux mot-b 2.6.28-11-generic #42-Ubuntu SMP Fri Apr 17
01:57:59 UTC 2009 i686 GNU/Linux"

** Changed in: gnome-panel (Ubuntu)

[Bug 620331] Re: Keyboard menu title needlessly has both icon and label

2010-10-16 Thread Matvei Fisenko
@Karl
I confirm that /desktop/gnome/peripherals/keyboard/general/disable_indicator do
not work on fresh install of 10.10 (with apt-get update).
If you have a workaround to remove indicators at all - please provide.

@Karl solution from #31 disable indicators and layout switching as well
(and that's bad)!

[Bug 34813] Re: gedit fails to save files over smbfs/cifs

2008-02-15 Thread Matvei Fisenko
Confirmed, same message from gedit when editing file on cifs mounted partition.
Editing this file in other editors (openoffice) for example is fine.

Ubuntu 7.10, all updates installed.

But! Mail source (CTRL+U) is displayed properly.

[Bug 124440] Re: gnome needs a way to manipulate scroll speed

2007-10-08 Thread Matvei Fisenko
Bug is not fixed, and it is very VERY annoying.
People can not switch to Ubuntu because of this bug, which was mentioned in
2002 year!
