[Bug 106621] Re: GNOME Trash doesn't show deleted files on fuse partitions (ecryptfs / encfs / Private / ntfs-3g)
In jaunty a dialog box pops out telling me that the file can't be moved to trash and asking if I want to delete it instead. I'm testing an ntfs- 3g partition on a external usb disk. -- GNOME Trash doesn't show deleted files on fuse partitions (ecryptfs / encfs / Private / ntfs-3g) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/106621 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 185291] Re: No icon for cd image
Pedro, it is some days since I'm experiencing the same issue. I'm using Hardy. shared-mime-info 0.23-1 nautilus 1:2.21.90-0ubuntu3 file -i reports application/x-iso9660 as mime type, while Nautilus reports application/x-cd-image. Also other file types have the same problem (i.g. tar/gzip archives, reported as application/x-gzip and application/x-compressed-tar). -- No icon for cd image https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/185291 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 185291] Re: No icon for cd image
I checked on a working Gutsy and also on the old Ubuntu version file -i and Nautilus properties window report different mime types (e.g. application/x-iso966 vs application/x-cd-image and), but the icons are correctly displayed. -- No icon for cd image https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/185291 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 185291] Re: No icon for cd image
Pedro, it is not the cd icon, but just a normal file icon (a .iso file). Moreover I have the same problem also with other file types (tar.gz and others). -- No icon for cd image https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/185291 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 192232] Re: wnck tooltips nitpicks
I agree with Carlos here, mainly on points 1 and 4. E.g. if you have a Firefox window on top with a long title the tooltip uses half the space available on the monitor. -- wnck tooltips nitpicks https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/192232 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug contact for libwnck in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 192232] Re: wnck tooltips nitpicks
Sometimes the tooltip tooks even more than the screen width, leaving it half hidden. btw, I also think that a tooltip is the wrong place to put hints about UI features :) -- wnck tooltips nitpicks https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/192232 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 192232] Re: wnck tooltips nitpicks
Thanks Mirco, but please don't break long window titles on multiple lines, this will not solve the problem. Instead don't use window title at all, or at least define a gconf key to disable those new tooltips. -- wnck tooltips nitpicks https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/192232 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

Public bug reported: Check-menu items are drawn without the bounding box, so if a menu item is not checked you will never know if it is a check-menu item or not. ** Affects: ubuntulooks (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- Check-menu items are drawn incorrectly https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/101874 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug contact for ubuntulooks in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 84872] Re: doesn't provide inconsistent state of radio buttons
Kenneth, doesn't look at the specific case reported in the screenshot. GTK lets you mark a radio button as "undefined". ubuntulooks draws such a radio button in a wrong way. [Bug 106621] Re: Gnome Trash doesn't show deleted files on ntfs-3g partitions
Yann, I tested your gnome-vfs/nautilus packages from http://ppa.launchpad.net/yann-pleiades/ but sadly they don' t work as expected. When I login now there aren't any computer, home and trash folders on my desktop and deleting something from an NTFS volume now a warning appears telling me that the file can't be moved to trash, so it will be deleted. -- Gnome Trash doesn't show deleted files on ntfs-3g partitions https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/106621 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 73367] cpufreq-selector is installed without suid bit
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-applets cpufreq-selector is installed without suid bit (maybe a chown? http://www.ussg.iu.edu/hypermail/linux/kernel/9706.0/0068.html), so cpufreq-applet doesn't display the frequencies/governors menu on left-click.
