Public bug reported: When I quit gaim with the icon's menu, the buddy list appear minimize, and the program crash. When I launch it with a terminal, I see this : Attempt to register the same DBusConnection with the message bus, but it is already registered 0�X�f� segfaulted and attempted to dump a core file. This is a bug in the software and has happened through no fault of your own. I'm not sure it's the role of LXDE devs to validate every applications. If gnome-terminal authors or maintainers set OnlyShowIn=GNOME, I understand it as "It's only work well under GNOME environment. If they consider now that it can work on LXDE without problem, they should add the LXDE in the list of the OnlyShowIn themselves. I think the bug is in libimobiledevice, since it doesn't install a HAL fdi file since Maverick. I re-added it in a testing package, can someone with a maverick system test with the version libimobiledevice_1.0.1-1ubuntu0.1~ppa1 in my PPA (https://launchpad.net/~gilir/+archive/unstable) ? Please note that the fdi is not really up-to-date, so if you have a recent Ipod/Iphone/Ipad etc ..., probably, it will not be detected even with this fix. I can't find any information about a plan for Amarok to migrate to something else than HAL for hardware detection. Probably not, the new gnome-keyring may have new dependencies. Confirmed. p7zip-full or genisoimage is needed. The genisoimage recommends was dropped on Debian because p7zip-full was added as Depends. But in Ubuntu the depends was replaced by zip/unzip, which don't have the support for iso. Since genisoimage is already part of ubuntu-desktop, it's not a problem on a Ubuntu desktop.
