[Bug 608462] Re: Papercut: Evolution - Mark msgs as read

2010-09-23 Thread Julien Lavergne
Yes, it's still a problem on Maverick.
The upstream fix is in :
http://git.gnome.org/browse/evolution/commit/?id=a5d79e9f915dc49ef0259ce7681c1f552c335a4c
Unfortunately, it includes new strings, and even without it, it doesn't work
when adding it unmodified. I attached the patch (modified to apply) if someone
want to continue to work on it.

[Bug 798385] [NEW] Please lower the requierement of nautilus-data for nautilus to Suggest

2011-06-16 Thread Julien Lavergne
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus

File-roller now depends on nautilus-data for the schemas. But, nautilus-
data recommends nautilus. So when you install file-roller on Xubuntu or
Lubuntu, nautilus is installed, which is not needed and not wanted.

Nautilus and file-roller already depend on nautilus-data, I don't think
a reverse recommend is needed. Nobody is supposed to install nautilus-
data and expect nautilus to be installed, you just install nautilus. Or
maybe I missed a use case ?

Using Ubuntu Oneiric, nautilus 1:3.0.2-0ubuntu2 and file-roller
3.0.2-0ubuntu1

[Bug 664206] Re: SSH_AUTH_SOCK not being properly set: user has to type password even if saved in the password manager

However, with recent udpates from gnome-keyring in Ubuntu Natty, I can't

[Bug 362182] Re: Support for iPhone-like devices in Amarok 2

2011-03-20 Thread Julien Lavergne
I think the bug is in libimobiledevice, since it doesn't install a HAL
fdi file since Maverick. I re-added it in a testing package, can someone
with a maverick system test with the version
libimobiledevice_1.0.1-1ubuntu0.1~ppa1 in my PPA
(https://launchpad.net/~gilir/+archive/unstable) ? Please note that the
fdi is not really up-to-date, so if you have a recent Ipod/Iphone/Ipad
etc ..., probably, it will not be detected even with this fix.

I can't find any information about a plan for Amarok to migrate to
something else than HAL for hardware detection. I'm not an KDE user
(only libimobildevice maintainer), so if you have information about
this, I am interesting :)

Probably not, the new gnome-keyring may have new dependencies. It's
better to test on a full natty system, because if it's not working, we
can't know if it's because your system is not natty, or if the programm
is not fixed.

[Bug 689317] Re: Archive type not supported when opening an iso

2011-01-16 Thread Julien Lavergne
Confirmed.
p7zip-full or genisoimage is needed. The genisoimage recommends was dropped on
Debian because p7zip-full was added as Depends. But in Ubuntu the depends was
replaced by zip/unzip, which don't have the support for iso. Since genisoimage
is already part of ubuntu-desktop, it's not a problem on a Ubuntu desktop. But
it's a problem on other flavor that doesn't include genisoimage.

[Bug 630240] Re: New upstream release: 1.0.2 - Please sync from Debian 1.0.2-1

2010-09-04 Thread Julien Lavergne
Some notes about this update :
- It's a bugfix release, so it should be safe to update it on maverick after
the FF
- It doesn't build with a pbuilder, but it's a bug in pbuilder which doesn't
support [linux-any] build-depends. It builds ok on a PPA (see
https://launchpad.net/~gilir/+archive/unstable/+build/1946976)

[Bug 341487] Re: [Jaunty 9.04 alpha5] 'don't cover the bar' options doesn't work

2009-03-12 Thread Julien Lavergne
The debdiff attached include the patch from upstream to fix this problem.
Upstream informed me that this patch will not be part of the 2.26 release.
Testing packages are available in my PPA.

Thanks Andrew for the testing. I suspect metacity is missing something
on Jaunty.

[Bug 357273] Re: awn-notification-daemon randomly overrides notify-osd

2009-04-08 Thread Julien Lavergne
As awn-notification-daemon is not the only applet in his package, I
don't think the Conflicts/Replaces is a good solution. The best solution
should to wait the fix from moonbeam.

[Bug 357740] Re: segfault in PyType_IsSubtype

Thanks for your bug report.
You need to install some *-dbg packages, so the backtrace can be a bit more
usefull. Could you please retry this backtrace after installing
python-gtk2-dbg and python-gobject-dbg ?
