[Bug 1400470] Re: cannot download photos using shotwell via usb

Why was this incomplete? If a bug is incomplete, there needs to be some
reason as to why. It seems to be very well confirmed by ~30 people.

[Bug 1617313] Re: even with keyring unlocked, is prompted for ssh key passphrase

2016-08-31 Thread Jonas G. Drange
Seems it's started automatically like this:

jonas17639 0.0 0.0 216412 6996 ?SLl 11:54 0:00
/usr/bin/gnome-keyring-daemon --daemonize --login

Running it like this fixes it:

/usr/bin/gnome-keyring-daemon --start --foreground
--components=secrets,ssh,pkcs11

Faulty assumptions made for startup script?

[Bug 1543617] [NEW] InputSources should have an explicit default

2016-02-09 Thread Jonas G. Drange
Public bug reported:

The AccountsService package rolls the org.freedesktop.Accounts.User.xml
schema, which comes with a default, empty InputSources. Mir defaults to
“en”.

Maybe we should set this value to “en” so that there's a canonical way
of figuring out what InputSource to use. Additionally, if a vendor wants
“no” to be the default, it could make sense to just override this schema
default value.

[Bug 1250759] [NEW] gnome-control-center sound-nua does not change from internal speakers to external soundcard automatically

2013-11-13 Thread Jonas G. Drange
Public bug reported:

The sound is routed through the external soundcard when plugged in, but
gnome-control-center sound-nua shows the internal speakers to be active.
This means controlling the sound will control the internal speakers and
thus have no effect on external sound card.

[Bug 769314] Re: System bell broken in Natty/Unity (despite heroic...)

2012-11-28 Thread Jonas G. Drange
Fresh 12.10 install. Error persist and commands:

pactl upload-sample actual-bell.ogg bell.ogg
xset b 100

must be run both on startup and wake. This is a papercut that cuts
deeply for users that depend on the bell (like me).

I will be available for testing.

2012-01-31 Thread Jonas G. Drange
Hi Vadim,

forgot to mention that the PDF was opened in Preview (Mac OS) edited and
then saved.

Pretty much an edge case then.

[Bug 747791] Re: Empathy in Ubuntu 11.04 does not have right sidebar with participants in IRC chat

2011-05-23 Thread Jonas G. Drange
This should be transformed into a paper cut bug. There is no indication
in the window that the right sidebar is collapsed.

This bug affects not only IRC but all conversations with multiple
participants.
