[Bug 1207812] Re: [Sony VGN-SR29XN_S] Iphone with iOS 7 does not work on Ubuntu

2014-01-06 Thread Iuri Diniz
Hello Yun, that package was build based on libimobiledevice4_1.1.5 from
Ubuntu 13.10, so it will work out of box if you already have
libimobiledevice4 installed on your system.

Are you using Ubuntu 13.10?
Try to do:
sudo apt-get install libgnutls26

2014-01-06 Thread Iuri Diniz
Yun,
Sorry, that package is not for you! But you can compile the library and install
it by yourself.

I could rebuild that package lowering the version of libgnutls, but I
don't know if it will work for you. Also, I don't know if all problems
will be fixed with that package. I just confirmed that the current
version of libmobiledevice seems the source of the problem. That package
cannot be considered the final solution, it is just for someone could
test if the new version fixes everything, as I told before, I never used
an iPhone on linux until now. My sister asked me for some file from her
iPhone, as I was not able to get that file I reached this bugreport.
While I was reading, I saw Someone else has said that new version could
fix and another guy asked for a binary package, so i did it.

I just compiled libimobiledevice from git sources and I was able to

See more at:

IMHO is a libimobiledevice problem.

There's a 64bit deb package for 13.10 at #1207812

Thanks Pedro

I want to see if someone can reproduce this bug, because a POSSIBLE
patch in http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=552583 was commited.
That patch fix a lot of things

I don't know about free time of ubuntu maintainers, but I will
appreciate if someone backport this patch, because it is marked to
2.24.3, but 2.24.3 will be released only in January.

I can wait, but maybe that patch important for someone.

2008-10-28 Thread Iuri Diniz
seems the same bug but In my case the search folder was created for a
IMAP folder (see screenshot) with others rules

Note: I've selected 'if all criteria are met' because I know that the
search folder will match no messages.

If I recreate the 'search folder' the new message count will be correct,
but after a time of using the new message count would break, there's no
need to restart evolution.

2008-11-04 Thread Iuri Diniz
Is this regression already in:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/IntrepidReleaseNotes ? I think that People must
be warned about this.

And I agree with ubuntu guys, If someone wants to complain, do not do it
here, neither on gnome tracker, comments like 'me too' is completely
useless, just put your name on CC and wait for someone to work on it or
do it by yourself (use the force). I'm one of guys that used to use this
feature, I don't have time to resolve it, so I will wait, but I agree
that this issue must be warned, I was not warned about it.

[Bug 608480] [NEW] libpam-gnome-keyring only uses keyrings with 'login' name

if the keyring has 'login' name

/var/log/auth.log
Jul 21 19:13:14 folha gnome-keyring-daemon[1077]: Failed to unlock login on

How to reproduce:
create a new keyring using seahorse, set it as default, move some passwords to
it (wifi password per example);
[ or you can rename it via 'mv $HOME/.gnome2/keyrings/login.keyring
$HOME/.gnome2/keyrings/default.keyring' and alter
