[Bug 1072080] Re: Suspend from power button menu doesn't work.
I'm having the same problem too. I have gnome 3.6 on Ubuntu 12.10 and have enabled Alternative Status Menu from Tweak Tools > Shell Extensions. Still, when I want to Suspend the system for a while, I click on the Suspend button from the Username menu in the top right corner of Gnome desktop environment but nothing happens. In Unity desktop environment, everything works fine. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-power-manager in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1072080 Title: Suspend from power button menu doesn't work. [Bug 868400] Re: Synaptics touchpad stops working
Hi, I'm using an HP laptop dv6385ea and its mouse touchpad doesn't work once I login with my password. It suddenly works if I login as a "Guest Session". It works before logging into my personal account with my personal password. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-settings-daemon in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/868400 Title: Synaptics touchpad stops working To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-settings-daemon/+bug/868400/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 868400] Re: Synaptics touchpad stops working
Hi! Me again! Just wanted to say I solved my problem with the mouse touchpad on my HP DV6385EA thanks to Kate Stewart's suggestion at comment #8: "type: gsettings set org.gnome.settings-daemon.plugins.mouse active false Then close your session with: gnome-session-quit" Thank you, folks!
