[Bug 1605571] Re: apt install --no-install-recommends fcitx-bin, breaks dead keys
This problem lives in im-config/gnome-language-selector, reassigning. [Bug 1652591] [NEW] [SRU] fcitx 100% CPU usage on rare case
Public bug reported: [Impact] There is a rare case that fcitx runs at 100% CPU when using Sogou Pinyin input method that sometimes happen after suspend/resume, even though the problem does not break client usages, it will drain battery of laptop and makes fan very noisy. [Test Case] After upgrading the package, user will not see 100% CPU usage of fcitx after frequent suspend/resume. Howdy Claude! Sorry for inconvenience, but assigning bugs to the respective translators teams is a standard procedure dealing with bugs against Ubuntu translations. As for gnome-games, a package in main, translations will be updated during every language pack update, so you can just fix it on Launchpad and turn the status of this bug to Fix committed. [Bug 1218342] [NEW] g-s-d/g-c-c should not hard code dependency on ibus
Public bug reported: In saucy we have enabled ibus integration in g-s-d/g-c-c, and hard coded the dependency of ibus (>= 1.5.0). This is very troublesome for users of other input methods, even though they can disable ibus through im- config. Unnecessary dependency is a hack to ensure upgrade path, which is a bit ugly and should be done in other way. A possible solution is changing Depends to Recommends since apt honors it by default. ** Affects: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu) Importance: High Status: New ** Affects: gnome-settings-daemon (Ubuntu) Importance: High Status: New ** Also affects: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => High ** Summary changed: - gnome-settings-daemon should not hard code dependency on ibus + g-s-d/g-c-c should not hard code dependency on ibus -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-settings-daemon in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1218342 Title: g-s-d/g-c-c should not hard code dependency on ibus To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/1218342/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 371167] Re: Chinese file names in Zip Archives compressed on Windows cannot be extracted correctly
This attachment is a file that can be used to reproduce this problem. 测试.zip is compressed on a Windows XP with Simplified Chinese environment, there are two empty files named 测试1.txt and 测试2.txt in it. When you decompress them with Ark or File-roller, we won't get correct file names. ** Summary changed: - Ark cannot decompress Zip Archives with Chinese file name that compressed on Windows + Chinese file names in Zip Archives compressed on Windows cannot be extracted correctly ** Description changed: Hi, - I am a user from China, when one of my friend and I are preparing for helping more Chinese user migrate to Ubuntu or Kubuntu, we found Ark doens't work properly as what we want to. + I am a user from China, when one of my friend and I are preparing for helping more Chinese user migrate to Ubuntu or Kubuntu, we found file-roller and ark don't work properly as what we want to. Usually we have many files that were compressed on Windows, with Chinese file names. When I tried to decompress one of them I found Ark cannot get the proper encoding of the file. On Windows, the file names are encoded as CP936 or GBK, but Ark regards them as UTF-8 by default, so we cannot see or get the files with right name but all strange characters. I tried to find why, then I know I have installed both p7zip and unzip on my Ubuntu, and Ark calls p7zip package to decompress .zip archive instead of the package 'unzip'. Then I purged the p7zip package and tried again, and the problem is still there, unsolved. - Thanks for your time to pay attention to this problem. + Thanks for your time to pay attention to this problem.
