[Bug 2103836] [NEW] "GIMP crashed with a fatal error: fatal error: Segmentation fault" on closing Batch Processor

2025-03-21 Thread John100
Public bug reported:

I opened Gimp, then opened the David's Batch Processor, under the
latter's "Output" tab changed the format from BMP to JPG, clicked on the
"Rename" tab. (Possibly a few more tab changes were done, but no
processing started.) Then closed the David's Batch Processor window by
clicking the X in its corner, which led to the following error.

Both Gimp and the gimp-plugin-registry package (which contains the
David's Batch Processor) were installed from the default Ubuntu
repository.

You're right; that makes a lot more sense.
Here's the shell shutdown sequence from the previous journal.

[Bug 2100475] Re: Whole display freezes in 1 second interval for a while

2025-03-21 Thread Jan Hák
Okey, thanks for advice!!
I'll definitely test it (It should be easy, because the cause must be the
secondary monitor - the problems did not arise, when I was running only on the
primary).
I'll check to see if it's crossed somewhere under the table and possibly buy a
new cable.
