[Bug 2100475] Re: Whole display freezes in 1 second interval for a while
This is Wayland session. I have disabled the Dock from previous attempts, but then I just unplugged one monitor (secondary) and rebooted the system. I did this on Sunday night and so far no problems. [Bug 2101107] Re: Display screen broken
Is this a laptop or a desktop? The monitors.xml.txt above is showing only an HP 23xi monitor connected by HDMI, but at very low resolution and refresh rate. So assuming that's the only screen you are using, most likely it's a poor quality HDMI connection and I would recommend getting a higher grade HDMI cable. After you reboot with a higher grade HDMI cable it is likely that more screen resolution and refresh rate options will be available. ** Package changed: gnome-shell (Ubuntu) => ubuntu -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-shell in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2101107 Title: Display screen broken To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/2101107/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 2102725] [NEW] File Manager File Properties Window "Anchored" to File Manager Window
Public bug reported: I am (still) running Ubuntu 20.04.6 LTS (per the adage that "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."). I have noticed that when I open the File Manager (Nautilus), and I click on a file to get its properties, the "Properties" window is "tied down"/anchored to the File Manager window containing it. If I try to move the Properties window, the File Manager window moves with it, and I can't click on another file. The Properties "sub-window" has "hijacked" the File Manager window. This is a problem, because to me, a common task within File Manager would be to click on one file to get its properties, then click on another file to compare the two files' properties. [Bug 2103060] [NEW] Gimp crashes on launch
Public bug reported: When I try to launch GIMP it crashes. This happens whether I launch it from the menu, command line, with or without a file to open. It crashes every time without fail. It used to work fine on this computer and OS install so something changed. My assumption is a library/dependency issue where GIMP was updated, but the underlying library was not. I have tried uninstalling GIMP fully and removing any cache/directory in my home directory. Then after reinstalling it still crashes. Attached below is the crash report: ``` GNU Image Manipulation Program version 2.10.30 git-describe: GIMP_2_10_30 Build: unknown rev 0 for linux # C compiler # Using built-in specs.
