[Bug 2100760] [NEW] Sendto fails to attach files to emails (24.04)
Public bug reported: Hello, Context : I am on a fresh new install on a laptop. All packages up-to-date. - Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS - Shotwell 0.32.6 (0.32.6) - Thunderbird 128.7.1esr - nautilus-sendto 3.8.6 I try to select a picture in shotwell and use the sendto command from the menu (right-click on the picture) to send the picture per email. The resizing dialog shows as expected. As a result, Thunderbird opens a new email but does not attach the file. Instead the new email shows "Send files per Mail: P217_1.JPG" in the subject of the email. This happens with one or more selected pictures and with or without resizing. On the other hand, If I use nautilus-sendto from the command line with a picture file path, the whole process works correctly. (i am not sure if that is the command that is used by shotwell but I assume it is) Can anybody reproduce that ? [Bug 2099727] Re: gnome-keyring-daemon crashed with SIGABRT in ???()
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Unfortunately, we cannot work on this bug because your description didn't include enough information. You may find it helpful to read 'How to report bugs effectively' http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/bugs.html. We'd be grateful if you would then provide a more complete description of the problem. We have instructions on debugging some types of problems at http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProcedures. At a minimum, we need: 1. The specific steps or actions you took that caused you to encounter the problem. 2. The behavior you expected. 3. The behavior you actually encountered (in as much detail as possible). Please also ensure that you include the release and flavour of Ubuntu that you are using. [Bug 2099866] Re: Nautilus file manager crashed while using location bar
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. However, your crash report is either missing or challenging to deal with as a '.crash' file. Please follow these instructions to have apport report a new bug about your crash that can be dealt with by the automatic retracer. If you are running the Ubuntu Stable Release you might need to enable apport in /etc/default/apport and restart. If you are using Ubuntu with the Gnome desktop environment - launch nautilus and navigate to your /var/crash directory and double click on the crash report you wish to submit. If you are using Kubuntu or Xubuntu you can file the crash using /usr/share/apport/apport-qt --crash-file=/var/crash/_my_crash_report.crash in a terminal - where _my_crash_report.crash is the crash you would like to report. I'm closing this bug report since the process outlined above will automatically open a new bug report which can then dealt with more efficiently. [Bug 2090824] Re: mutter crashes on Ubuntu 24.04 while playing Among Us with meta_wayland_pointer_constraint_deactivate
In noble I am able to verify with mutter 46.2-1ubuntu0.24.04.6 the crash does not happen using the webpage supplied in the attachment, which does requestPointerLock() call to lock the pointer.
