The bug doesn't happen in Wayland, which is why I created it for X11 specifically. https://appstream.ubuntu.com/ didn't have plucky content until last week so maybe that was the problem. We should be able to get the website updated for development releases much faster in the future. So a buggy extension may be running code still (or already crashed) even when told to disable itself. That's why we need to delete extensions as much as possible here.
