Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but this appears to be a "regular" (non-security) bug. I have unmarked it as a security issue since this bug does not show evidence of allowing attackers to cross privilege boundaries nor directly cause loss of data/privacy. Please feel free to report any other bugs you may find. ** Information type changed from Private Security to Public -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-shell in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2091231 Title: package gnome-shell-common 46.0-0ubuntu6~24.04.5 failed to install/upgrade: installed gnome-shell-common package post- installation script subprocess returned error exit status 2 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/2091231/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 2093399] Re: Screen Stuttering on Intel Graphics when using X11 non-standard modes
Thanks. Those video files seem to have bogus frame rate information. Depending on the player they are reported as 25.415FPS, 26.318FPS, 120FPS or 3FPS. But they all appear to be low frame rate so I'm guessing they're close to 24-30FPS. It would be helpful to record a video in native 60FPS or higher if you have some other camera that can do so. Separately, it appears you have the old i965 video acceleration driver installed. That's probably correct for the Haswell integrated graphics, but it's definitely the wrong driver for an Intel Arc GPU. And even if it's correct for Haswell, it may have bitrotted in recent years. Please try with no driver installed: sudo apt remove i965-va-driver i965-va-driver-shaders and then again with the newer driver installed (may only work with Arc, not the integrated graphics): sudo apt install intel-media-va-driver-non-free -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to mutter in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2093399 Title: Screen Stuttering on Intel Graphics when using X11 non-standard modes To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mutter/+bug/2093399/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
