[Bug 2090824] Re: mutter crashes on Ubuntu 24.04 while playing Among Us with meta_wayland_pointer_constraint_deactivate

2024-12-04 Thread Timo Jyrinki
Right, so far my PPA package seems to work fine enough for the purpose
(don't crash the whole session), but I'll postpone further testing to
your proposed upload version.

Thank you a lot for working on it!

[Bug 2091010] [NEW] GIIMP crashes on paste

2024-12-04 Thread Piotr Henryk Dabrowski
Public bug reported:

1. Select a rectangle (long horizontal?). Doesn't have to be big, 100x30 also
triggers the bug.
2. Copy with Ctrl+C.
3. Paste with Ctrl+V.
4. Crash.

Bug is persistant, happens all the time.
Depends only on the dimensions of the copied rectangle.

Bug exists for many weeks/months no and is still not fixed.

[Bug 1933186] Re: gnome-shell crashed with SIGSEGV in meta_window_place() from place_window_if_needed() from meta_window_constrain() from meta_window_move_resize_internal() from meta_window_force_plac

2024-12-04 Thread Ismo Aulaskari
I have this crash happening too when unplugging an external hdmi monitor
from my Thinkpad running 22.04, but as a workaround I now press the
Windows key and pull all my windows to the laptop monitor beforre
unplugging. This prevents the session from crashing.

I got really fed up with the GNOME related issues so I just switched to MX
Linux and both xfce and KDE work flawlessly.
