[Bug 2081076] [NEW] systemd[2012]: Failed to start app-gnome-gnome\x2dkeyring\x2dsecrets-2355.scope - Application launched by gnome-session-binary.
Public bug reported: This is my first time reporting a bug. Since I'm not an advanced user of Linux, I'm not sure what details to include in this form, but I hope this helps to resolve the issue. I noticed that after reinstalling zsh and Oh My Zsh, the startup time for GNOME Terminal became very slow. Then, I removed them. However, I'm not sure whether the issue is related to the installation or uninstallation of zsh. Even after resetting the shell settings, all GNOME applications, such as 'Settings' and 'GNOME Terminal,' are still too slow to start up. However, once I open an application, it launches quickly on subsequent attempts. [Bug 2081058] Re: Cannot open gnome-control-center (settings)
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. However, your crash report is either missing or challenging to deal with as a '.crash' file. Please follow these instructions to have apport report a new bug about your crash that can be dealt with by the automatic retracer. If you are running the Ubuntu Stable Release you might need to enable apport in /etc/default/apport and restart. If you are using Ubuntu with the Gnome desktop environment - launch nautilus and navigate to your /var/crash directory and double click on the crash report you wish to submit. If you are using Kubuntu or Xubuntu you can file the crash using /usr/share/apport/apport-qt --crash-file=/var/crash/_my_crash_report.crash in a terminal - where _my_crash_report.crash is the crash you would like to report. I'm closing this bug report since the process outlined above will automatically open a new bug report which can then dealt with more efficiently. Thanks in advance for your cooperation and understanding. ** Changed in: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2081058 Title: Cannot open gnome-control-center (settings) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/2081058/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
