[Bug 1603742] [NEW] Instructions for upgrading to latest GNOME version should be given in documentation

2016-07-17 Thread Nikita Yerenkov-Scott
Public bug reported:

I believe that somewhere in the GNOME documentation (Help/Yelp) that is
pre-installed there should be instructions to upgrade to the latest
GNOME version using the gnome3 and gnome3-staging PPAs, even if it's an
"Advanced User" section or something with a warning, I believe that it
should be easier to find out about it through the official built-in
means.

[Bug 1603515] Re: No network connection after upgrade of 16.04 arm image

This sounds like some misconfiguration in that image -- apparently
/etc/network/interfaces (or interfaces.d/*) refers to "eth0" which does
not exist?

[Bug 1557866] Re: connecting to samba share doesn't show all items

2016-07-17 Thread Kieran Grant
If I manually mount the share with cifs it works as expected. For now I
am going to rely on the Linux cifs support rather than userspace tools.
