[Bug 1603742] [NEW] Instructions for upgrading to latest GNOME version should be given in documentation
Public bug reported: I believe that somewhere in the GNOME documentation (Help/Yelp) that is pre-installed there should be instructions to upgrade to the latest GNOME version using the gnome3 and gnome3-staging PPAs, even if it's an "Advanced User" section or something with a warning, I believe that it should be easier to find out about it through the official built-in means. ** Affects: ubuntu-gnome Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: yelp (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: gnome3 gnome3-staging ** Also affects: yelp (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags added: gnome3 gnome3-staging -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to yelp in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1603742 Title: Instructions for upgrading to latest GNOME version should be given in documentation To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-gnome/+bug/1603742/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
