[Bug 1470028] Re: NSEC3: verify failed due to bad signature (keyid=33878): RRSIG validity period has not begun
It's much more likely that this is due to the update of dnsmasq (https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/dnsmasq/2.73-1): juin 30 09:51:14 u32 NetworkManager[812]: dnsmasq not available on the bus, can't update servers. juin 30 09:51:14 u32 NetworkManager[812]: [1435650674.886674] [dns-manager/nm-dns-dnsmasq.c:398] update(): dnsmasq owner not found on bus: Could not get owner of name 'org.freedesktop.NetworkManager.dnsmasq': no such name juin 30 09:51:14 u32 NetworkManager[812]: DNS: plugin dnsmasq update failed Can you please test downgrading dnsmasq-base to the previous version https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/dnsmasq/2.72-3.1build1 ? If that works, then it's a dnsmasq regression, or NetworkManager needs to get adjusted to the newer version. If that doesn't work, can you please try to downgrade to the previous systemd version? This is much less likely to work as systemd doesn't do any network configuration beyond starting NetworkManager (which obviously works) and calling ifupdown (which you don't seem to use). ** Package changed: systemd (Ubuntu) => dnsmasq (Ubuntu) ** Changed in: dnsmasq (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete ** Summary changed: - NSEC3: verify failed due to bad signature (keyid=33878): RRSIG validity period has not begun + NetworkManager[792]: dnsmasq not available on the bus, can't update servers. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to systemd in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1470028 Title: NetworkManager[792]: dnsmasq not available on the bus, can't update servers. [Bug 1427877] Re: Media, brightness and volume keys don't work with GNOME 3.15.90
Hi Hubert, 1) no not really, its just that gnome-settings-daemon never had any shared objects previously, so the link flags never caused a problem. I just poked around in gdb to find the problem. You obviously can get diffs to the previous versions via git, but that wouldn't have helped much in this case! 2) I have no idea, its a pretty tricky case to test for, however I suppose you could check that the pointers for the Gtypes match up between modules, however thats all kind of wrapped up in glib ( I had to cross into glib to code to work that out) so may not work in a test case. 3) if you want to work on some more Ubuntu GNOME stuff, I can point you in that direction, ping me on IRC or email. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-settings-daemon in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1427877 Title: Media, brightness and volume keys don't work with GNOME 3.15.90 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gnome-settings-daemon/+bug/1427877/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 1470169] [NEW] Ambiance is always used as window decorator theme
Public bug reported: I think Metacity 1:3.17.2-2ubuntu2 broke things. It seems now Ambiance is always used as window decorator theme, even though I have configured to another theme. I believe Metacity 1:3.17.2-2ubuntu1 worked fine. I updated my Ubuntu and it updated Metacity and libmetacity-private2 to libmetacity-private3. Now things are broken, it worked before. [Bug 1467611] Re: unprivileged lxc containers don't work in lsh remote sessions
Confirmed. Installing lsh-server in vivid and logging in via ssh reproduces this easily.
