Public bug reported: Binary package hint: rhythmbox Installed version = 0.10.0-0ubuntu2. System Monitor shows Rhythmbox using 50% CPU (all of 1 processor on dual chip). Tracks play o.k. but variable gap in between (several seconds to several minutes). CPU briefly drops to 'normal' when track starts playing then goes back up to the ceiling. This started occasionally and randomly a few weeks ago but today it is continuous. Tracks are all MP3.
