Bug#892812: [libdrm-radeon1] Periodic UI freezes
Package: libdrm-radeon1 Version: 2.4.90 Severity: serious --- Please enter the report below this line. --- I have been experiencing periodic general UI freezes since last reboot. UI (Gnome) freezes for 1 second or two every 30 seconds. This is extremely annoying and makes UI almost unusable. Probably due to recent package upgrade, probably libdrm-radeon. htop displays a load average of ~2.0, but I no process uses more than 5% CPU. I rather suspect GPU driver issue. dmesg outputs lines of the form: [...] [ 1174.844295] [drm] ib test on ring 5 succeeded [ 1193.906704] [drm] probing gen 2 caps for device 8086:9c98 = 5323c42/0 [ 1193.906707] [drm] PCIE gen 2 link speeds already enabled [ 1193.917787] [drm] PCIE GART of 2048M enabled (table at 0x001D6000).
