SID: xlibs or dpkg broken.

Hi Folks,

the following problem occured when updating xlibs (4.1.0-6).
I used www.de.debian.org and www.uk.debian.org as mirrors.

Here's the output:

ERROR: /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/app-defaults symbolic link does not
exist.  Either
the package didn't ship the symbolic link (a bug in the package), or dpkg
failed to unpack it to the filesystem (a bug in dpkg).
Please report the package name, version, and the text of the above error
message(s) to .

The following link fixed the problem:

ln -s /etc/X11/app-defaults /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/app-defaults

That crashes it as well.  I just tested with xserver-xfree86 4.1.0-5
and -6, same results.

I'll try your kernel patch -- should I also perhaps try the 2.4 kernel?
