Broken web page

2019-07-03 Thread Michael Bloom
One of (apparently) your web pages presents a blank window, instead of
useful content.

https://debian-administration.org/article/schroot_-_chroot_for_any_users

Using -U to view the HTML source displays the following (again,
after having appeared to have first transmitted many bytes):

The page is one of the first hits displayed in the results of a Google
search for *"schroot for dummies".*

It give the appearance of sloppiness at Debian,  but I suspect that's
not the case, as the organization displayed by *whois* for the domain
debian-administration.org

does not match that shown for the domain debian.org

This website is not operated by Debian, in addition the site is now
read-only and therefore the issue you mention isn't going to be fixed:

Pricing Page on debian.org

2019-07-03 Thread Bagas Sanjaya

Hello,

Many people wonder whether Debian is free (as in free bear) or not.
Thus, I proposed adding link to Pricing page into navigation menu of
debian.org. As Debian is free to download without cost, the content of
pricing page should be like below:

Debian is free, free in the sense of free bear and freedom. However, there are
ISP costs if you obtain Debian from HTTP
(either via network install or downloading ISO images), or if you buy Debian
CD/DVD from vendors, the price of CD/DVD.

Should Pricing page be added to debian.org? If not,  why?

Regards, Bagas
