Maybe you could add info on antiX to the Debian Wiki under https://wiki.debian.org/Derivatives/Census debian-www: maybe we should add a hint on ../misc/children-distros.html linking to that Wiki page, as some kind of a successor or backup page? The plan was to eventually delete the page and create a new www.d.o/derivatives page similar to www.d.o/blends, with clear criteria for being listed, instructions for creating derivatives etc etc. Adrian has given a good instructions to me about this at DebConf15 and Laura was going to help implement them but nothing happened yet. > Maybe you could add info on antiX to the Debian Wiki under > https://wiki.debian.org/Derivatives/Census Please do not just blindly add derivatives to the census, instead, invite people from the derivative to join the census themselves. If derivatives don't have the impetus to join the derivatives census we should not force them to do so. https://wiki.debian.org/Derivatives/CensusQA#invite > debian-www: maybe we should add a hint on > ../misc/children-distros.html linking to that Wiki page, as some kind of > a successor or backup page? No, the two pages have two different purposes and should stay separate. -- bye, pabs https://wiki.debian.org/PaulWise

Er, I meant something slightly different. The census page is not a successor or backup for children-distros, they serve different purposes and have different audiences. It should be fine to link to the census from the children-distros page for now though. -- bye, pabs https://wiki.debian.org/PaulWise
Bug#815201: packages: change maintenance info to Debian Website Team
Package: www.debian.org Severity: minor User: www.debian@packages.debian.org Usertags: packages The packages site says it is "maintained by Frank Lichtenheld" but he hasn't been involved for a while so it would be best to say "maintained by the Debian Website Team" on that page. I would change this myself but I don't understand the forest of branches in the git repository. https://packages.debian.org/about/ -- bye, pabs https://wiki.debian.org/PaulWise signature.asc Description: This is a digitally signed message part
Bug#815202: packages: machines and sponsors information is outdated
Package: www.debian.org Severity: minor User: www.debian@packages.debian.org Usertags: packages The packages site says the two packages mirrors are piatti and rore but these were decommissioned a long time ago. It would be best to generate the machines and sponsors info from Debian LDAP on a regular basis so that this information never gets out of date. Some combination of the description, purpose, sponsor and allowedGroups LDAP fields should be enough to find the right hosts and display the right info. picconi and pkgmirror-1and1 are the current hosts for this service. https://packages.debian.org/about/sponsors.html -- bye, pabs https://wiki.debian.org/PaulWise signature.asc Description: This is a digitally signed message part

I wonder if it's useful to add: 'Copyright (C) 2007-2016 the debian website team' in the copyright section of the page. -- Stéphane signature.asc Description: OpenPGP digital signature
